The Southeast Asia Neighborhoods Network SEANNET marks five years since its establishment at IIAS with core funding from the Henry Luce Foundation in New York. In this issue’s Focus, the principal investigators of the six SEANNET study sites, Surabaya, Manila, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Mandalay, reflect on what they have learned about their cities through the neighborhoods they have been studying in the past five years.
