Dr. Dal Lago research interests focus on the history of 20th century Chinese visual culture, representations of gender, the connection of art and politics and museum practices. Her present research deals with the transfer of art technical knowledge from the French academic system to China during the first part of the 20th century. She has published numerous articles and reviews on contemporary Chinese art.
