(1) Energy-saving technology in large-scale public building

The energy consumption of buildings accounts for a large percentage of the total energy consumption and has an important effect on the environmental aspects of housing. So the question of how to design or reform energy saving buildings in an urban environment that is based on the comforts of ventilation, daylight, and heating, has become a pressing problem of today. At the same time, as the relationship between building and the environment is becoming increasingly complex, it will be difficult to apply traditional and empirical design methods in the synthetic evaluation of the performance of the building-environment relationship. Meanwhile, digital simulation as a new and important technology will play a key role in the research in the area of building and environment.

My project researches three issues: “the quantitative relationship between environmental comfort and energy conservation”, “synthetically weighed some parameters such as airflow, daylighting, thermal”, and the “translation method from analog result to practical project”. The aim of the project is providing a scientific, accurate and high effective technique for building and environment.

(2) Protective lighting of historical relics in museums

This task is based on a experiment of WLED, tungsten halogen lamp, and four main kinds of monochromatic irradiating specimen, binding the methods of materialogy and colorimetry to research the quantitative relationship between the spectrum and exposure and damnification, then fitting periodic decay curve to micro structural aspects parameters of matrix and color parameters of pigment, the aim is provide  theoretical and data basis for related research. Base on contrasting WLED curves to tungsten halogen lamp curve, researching quantitative impact of WLED against traditional sources then provide damage factor of WLED, the aim is providing scientific basis for applicability of WLED in museum lighting. Base on analysing change regulation of WLED curve to research threshold of exposure in painting and calligraphy lighting, then establishing a limited indexes to quantity lighting based on WLED  illuminating painting and calligraphy, the aim is provide a support for revise  lighting criteria on painting and calligraphy. The task is able to reduce the damage of artificial lighting to exhibits fundamentally, and solve the problem such as loss of historical information and reduction of estate value, scientific and practical significance of the research are stupendous.
