This agreement continues the Taiwan Studies Chair established at the Faculty of Humanities and IIAS for the next three years. It provides a Professorial Fellow position for a visiting scholar in Taiwan Studies for one or two semesters at a time. Under the terms of the new agreement, the Professorial Fellow may also invite one Master's or PhD student affiliated with the Professorial Fellow's home institution to come to Leiden for a short-term study or exchange visit during the Fellow's stay.
