"A Walking Tour: Singapore is indeed a welcome walk through history and architecture. It offers comprehensive, quick and fascinating facts on the past and present Kampong Gelam. Its hightlights on the area's unique architecture are enlightening. Its sketches and original hand-drawn maps to illustrate the landmarks in Kampong Gelam are refreshing. An interesting read, it should appeal to both locals and tourists. A Walking tour: Singapore is itself a wonderful experience. What more if you walk with it through Kampong Gelam."
