From New Dehli, independent researcher and documentary filmmaker Yousuf Saeed has directed and shot numerous documentaries for Indian television, as well as his own films on the cultural heritage and practices of Muslims in India. He serves as director of "Tasveer Ghar" ("house of pictures"), an online archive of South Asian popular visual culture, and is the author of "Muslim Devotional Art in India."
